What is your perspective… of your perspective? The conversation gets deep with coach, mentor and thought leader Michael Hamman whose new book “Evolvagility” was just published earlier this year. In his soft conversation, listeners will hear a call to lead from wherever in the system you may be and to develop a capacity for inner sensemaking. These two seemingly unrelated concepts rely on personal leadership over one’s self.
Sense-making is happening all the time and for the most part we are unaware and unconscious of it – and that’s a problem. Hamman invites us to consider: are you thinking or just having thoughts? Are you authoring your thoughts or are they automatic? “The mind is a beautiful compiler: it takes all this ‘code’ and compiles it into a running program, and that running program is basically what’s running us.”
